On our journey to Washington, D.C., we will take in the beautiful scenery from the comfort of our coach. Along the way, we'll tour historic sites, explore iconic landmarks, and enjoy the wonderful companionship and "fun of travel" with fellow Bluebirds!
To give you the richest experience possible, we will take different routes to and from Washington, D.C., allowing us to discover a variety of states and historic highlights throughout the round trip.

Section 1. Before You Register

This year, we are introducing several changes, including online registration and electronic submission of the Release and Medical form.  

Before proceeding to the registration portion of this form, please read the instructions and documents below that will provide you with information to make a well-informed decision about which payment plan you would like to register with, and step-by-step instructions on how to register.

If you have any questions concerning the 2027 Bluebird Trip, or need assistance in registering, please reach out to your Bluebird Co-Chairs Marylou Darnell and Cindy Williams. 

The deadline to register is November 1, 2026, or until maximum capacity is met.

Request for refunds will be accepted up to the closing date of registration: November 1, 2026.  For peace of mind, you have the opportunity to buy Purchase Protection. This option provides a 100% refund of your registration if a qualifying unforeseen circumstance prevents you from attending. (Unless otherwise stated, the unforeseen circumstance occurred no more than 7 days prior to the event, and your claim was received within 48 hours after the event.) Step-by-Step Registration Instructions

Section 2. Register for the Bluebird Trip

A Note About Pricing:   The estimated cost for the 2027 Bluebird Trip is $3,010 per registrant. This price may change once all events, transportation, and hotel accomodations have been finalized. You will be notified of any changes to the total costs and the remaining payments owed will be adjusted to reflect those changes.

The Bluebird trip includes transportation to, from, and during our stay in Washington, D.C., hotel accommodations, admission fees to attractions, the Bluebird Luncheon, and select meals. Select meals are those planned and paid for in advance as arranged by the Bluebird CoChairs. You will be informed of which meals are included. Plan to take additional funds with you for meals during your stay in Washington, D.C. Registration is limited to 50 people.

  • This option allows you to Pay in Full the estimated cost of the Bluebird trip.
    Because this is a preliminary estimate, final costs may vary. Once prices are finalized, we will email you of any adjustments and provide you with a secure link for payment.

  • Payment plan schedules are determined by the purchase date and final due date, so the number of payments varies depending on when the customer purchases their registration.

The cost of lodging is based on two individuals per room. You can choose to share a room with a roommate or room alone. If you choose to room alone, your total cost will be adjusted to the full room rate.

Section 3. Request Hotel Accommodations Only

This section is for members who are not traveling with the Bluebirds but would like hotel accommodations in Washington, D.C. Select the number of nights you are staying and provide your check-in and check-out dates.

Please note that the hotel charges are preliminary estimates and the final cost may vary. You will be notified by email if the price changes and an adjustment to your total cost is required.
